Northern Lights - Reposted Pictures

Last night I drove 15 miles north of town to see the northern lights. It was wonderful. The locals say that they are nicer looking in summer when they have more colors (pink and reds). I think it would be nicer in the summer to not have -15 F.

I reposted the pictures once I got a chance to do some noise reduction on them.

Welcome to Thompson

This is my first trip to Thompson Manitoba. We come here to get temperatures less than -30F (-17 C). Two weeks in paradise.

The airport is on the right, the garage and cold chambers we use are on the left.

It is not a very large airport.
